Nick is one of Philadelphia’s premier trial attorneys. Standing up for the voiceless, he has tried hundreds of cases to verdict in PA, NJ, and the United States Army. Nick has honed his skills over nearly two decades in the courtroom, including years as a Homicide Prosecutor at the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office. While trying dozens of murder cases, his care for victims and empathy for their trauma drove Nick’s relentless pursuit of justice at every level.
Nick’s unmatched attention to detail, work ethic and skills in the courtroom have allowed him to be successful, even when taking on the most challenging and serious cases.
Nick focuses his practice on individuals who have been injured, disabled, injured or charged with a crime. He specializes in workers’ compensation, personal injury and criminal defense representation. Nick has successfully represented thousands of people injured on the job, in accidents and at the hands of others. Ensuring these victims receive the compensation and standing up for injured and disabled individuals against systems designed against them is paramount.
Nick earned his Juris Doctorate at Temple University’s Beasley School of Law in 2007, where he served as Executive Editor for the Temple Political and Civil Rights Law Review. He later clerked with the esteemed Judge Norma L. Shapiro at the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
Nick has served in the Army in a variety of capacities since 2000. After earning his bachelor’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh, he commissioned onto active duty as a Patriot Missile Systems Operator and deployed to the Middle East as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003.
After law school, he re-joined the military as a reservist in the Army Judge Advocate General Corps (JAG). Nick continues to serve, currently assigned as a Command Judge Advocate. His service includes tours in Germany, South Korea, Israel, Turkey, Hungary and Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
Lead. Serve. Give. When he is not in the courtroom, Nick founded and serves as the Executive Director for Team Foster, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Founded in honor of Captain Erick Foster (KIA), Team Foster. Team Foster raises money to provided accredited, life-saving service dogs to injured and disabled Veterans.
